Brookfield Central Jr. Lancers Basketball

   Hoops “A” Classic 2026 – January 24th & January 25th 2026 
   

Divisions:        3rd (Open A/B Level), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade “A” Level Boys 

Entry Fee:    $225.00 per team. All registrations and payments must be completed online at: www.jrlancersbb.com under the “Hoops Classic” tab
                          
Location:        Brookfield Central High School
            16900 W. Gebhardt Rd. Brookfield, WI 53005
            
Format:        Each team guaranteed three games.
•    5th,6th,7th & 8th graders play all games on Saturday, Jan 24th
•    3rd & 4th graders play all games on Sunday, Jan 25th

Awards:        Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place.

Rules:            All W.I.A.A. rules will be followed with these modifications:
1.    Two 18 minute running clock halves (stops last 2 min each half)
2.    Overtime will be 2 minutes, clock stops on all whistles. If tied after first OT, a second OT period will be played, first to score wins
3.    Three timeouts per game, one timeout in overtime.
4.    Teams cannot press when ahead by 15 points or more.  No press in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade except last 2 minutes of each half.
5.    W.I.A.A. referees will officiate games.
6.    Each team must provide scorekeepers.

Eligibility:        No All-Star or AAU teams allowed.

Miscellaneous:    Complete tournament information, including pairings, game times, directions to school, etc. will be sent to each coach/contact by January 16th.  Each team is responsible for providing basketballs for team warm-ups during tournament.
